ESP Gaming is partnering with Amazon Appstore to produce and distribute Champions of Fire 2017. The games played will be more casual mobile games compared to the high intensity, fast paced games that make up the more traditional esports. The tournament will feature twelve of the most popular gaming celebrities competing for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. Thus far, the announced participants include Swiftor, NampaiKid, MystIc7, NorthernLion, Hafu, Naomi Kyle, Avajaijai, and xChocoBars. Champions of Fire will take place from December 2 – 3 at Time Inc. Studios in New York. It will air live on the Amazon Appstore Twitch channel, and will then be broadcast at a later date on CBS Sports Network.
